Top 50 at the World Championships

Top 50 at the World Championships We had a very successful weekend. From the 17th till the 21st of September we travelled to Brno, where the World Championship Standard and the WDSF World Open Standard took place. On Saturday we participated in the World Championships, where only two couples from each country in the World are allowed to start. Most of the participants are dancers that specify for only one discipline - Standard. We are 10 Dancers, which means, we have to train all 10 dances instead of 5. This makes it more difficult for us to reach the top in one discipline but we are doing good! On the second day we participated in the WDSF World Open standard, where we reached the 16th place! There were 86 participants and with our result we got 181 points for the World Ranking. Currently we are on the 90st place in the World Ranking! Next weekend, on the 25.09.2021, we have our...

Semifinal in the WDSF Open in Verona This weekend we danced in Italy our third competition from the Star Cup Series. We are very happy to anounce, that because of our high position in the ranking we have a Star! This means we don't have to dance the first round on a competition and thus we save energy for the later rounds. Last weekend we reached the semifinal. With almost 200 couples on the start list we were happy to be within the best 12.. Our last round was around midnight. With this amazing result we are looking forward to dance the upcoming Swiss Championships in 10 Dance on the 10th of July in Uitikon. Come and join us! Baricella - WDSF Competition in the Corona times! Our second WDSF Competition in 2021 could take place in Italy, Baricella. We are very happy that we can dance with others and see, that our hard work gave beautiful results. We finished on the 13th Place as well in Standard (139 couples) as in Latin (99 couples). Happy New Year! We wish you all Happy and Healthy New Year! Times are hard. There are no WDSF tournaments at all. Going abroad to visit our trainers is very difficult because of the Quarantine and travel restrictions. We are of course wearing the mask and we submit to the limitations caused by the Virus, but it is extremely difficult to dance and do sport with a mask on. We hope and wish all our fans and observers that the new year will be much better than the previous one and that we will all find a way out of this difficult and unfortunate situation. ...

13th. Place at the European Championship Ten Dance One of our best Results so far. Since over 20 Years no Swiss Couple made it this far in a Ten Dance Championship. We felt extremely good being able to perform again in front of an audience. Because of Corona there were no comps held since February. The fans give as a lot of energy. When they are excited about our dancing and cheer for us we perform on a higher level. At our last European Championship we were placed 24. How could we pass our rivals so quickly? We really have to give a lot of credit to our sponsors. For example, the swiss armed forces. Davide joined the army in 2020 so we could practice in the Competence Centre of Sport 6 days a week for 6 hours a day. It was worth it. Additionally, we thank all our smaller private sponsors.
