Davide, the first Dance Sport Athlete in the Elite Sport Military in Switzerland
It's official today! Davide is the first Dance Sport Athlete to qualify for the Elite Sport Military. He will complete the 18 weeks of recruit school at the Army's Sports Competence Centre in Magglingen. The motto of the Top Tport commanders is "Success through targeted effort to get to the top".
To be accepted to the Elite Sport recruit school opens us as Dance Sport Athletes many opportunities. It fills us with pride that the Army investes in us as Elite DanceSport Athletes, thus helps us to progress holistically. We are very enthusiastic and very happy to be able to perform our targeted work there and to be supported by the Swiss Army!
We would like to thank Hannes Urs Wiedmer, Lieutenant Colonel in the General Staff, and Jasmin Corrodi, the STSV coach responsible for Elite-Class sport, who will train us over the 18 weeks.
